About Us

Calypso Cat Rescue was founded to help reduce the cat population in Tampa Bay Area. We focus on sterilizing the mother cats that have given birth and their kittens. “Stop the littering” and “mamas last litter” are our mottos for the program. We also work with local shelters to save kittens on euthanasia lists. 

 

Every week we sterilize at least 5 feral/stray female cats to reduce the number of kittens born outside. 

 

Calypso Cat Rescue's goal is to sterilize as many female cats that we possibly can to prevent kittens from entering into a world where we don’t have enough homes for them.
